Philemon Rono withdraws from TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon with calf injury

Three-time winner of the Toronto Waterfront Marathon Philemon Rono I announced Thursday that I will not be making a trip to Toronto this year due to a recent calf injury.

Rono has won three of the last four iterations of the race (2019, 2017, 2016) and set a Canadian all-comers record of 2:05:00 for his 2019 victory.
