Chris Pratt famously voices Mario, a casting decision that sparked controversy due to the fact that he’s clearly not Italian.
However, as the trailer shows, Pratt isn’t brandishing the overly Italian accent that was feared, instead using his own voice.

In addition to the Guardians of the Galaxy stars, Charlie Day as Mario’s brother Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, and Keegan-Michael Kee Toad.
Story-wise, Mario and Luigi travel to another dimension to rescue Princess Peach from the evil King Bowser and thwart their plans for world domination.
