TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays will make a slight change to the start time of next year’s home game, moving the first pitch at Sunday’s matinee by 30 minutes to 1:37 PM ET.

With a few exceptions during the season, weekday start times will remain at 7:07 PM and Saturday start times will remain at 3:07 PM.

The only exception to the Sunday start time is the October 1 regular season finale with the Tampa Bay Rays. The first pitch that day will be at 3:07 p.m., the Blue Jays said in a release Tuesday.

The home schedule at the newly renovated Rogers Center begins on April 11 with a game against the Detroit Tigers.
Toronto finished second in the American League East standings last season with a 92-70 record. The Blue Jays lost to the Seattle Mariners in his AL Wild Card playoff round.
