Longueuil police say man who took victim to hospital killed him

Residents of Longueuil were arrested on Thursday in connection with the murder of Luc Domingue on November 7.

Longueuil police said Domingue, 41, was taken to Charles Le Moine hospital that day and was pronounced dead shortly after. A 36-year-old suspect, Philip his Peter his Chaptowitz, was arrested at his home and will have to appear in Longueuil Court on second-degree murder charges.

Police believe Čaptovich took Domingue to the hospital after fatally wounding him at a home in Terrassimard in St Hubert borough. They say the two knew each other and that the conflict between them led to the murder.
