Writer-director Mary Boonstra said that while the show is based on her own personal experiences, it’s uplifting with some of her favorite music and powerful dance numbers.

“This show has been a healing process for me. I think it filled me with all the emotions I’ve been through over the past few years: forgiveness, frustration, denial, and ultimately love,” she said. .

“This cast is amazing, this show has handled all my emotions so well and delivered them beautifully. I can’t wait to dance with them on stage.”

Each show ends with a candlelight reception and the production supports the Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society.
