November 1: Go crazy for Halloween
Eve Chipperfield, a 12th grader at Holy Cross High School, arrives at school dressed as a crazy Cat Lady for Halloween on October 31st.
November 3: Heart of Halloween
Instead of collecting sweets, students from a local Catholic school collected perishables on Monday night, October 31, as part of Halloweening for Hunger. On November 1st, St. Joseph High School students loaded a truck with thousands of pounds of food for their local food bank.
November 4: Cold wave begins
Frozen windshields greeted Tyrone Berthelette on a cold Thursday morning in Saskatoon, November 3rd. According to the Weather Network forecast, the maximum temperature in the city is expected to be 0°C on November 5th and -6°C on November 7th. 6. It’s snowing on the way.

November 12: Let’s do it
The Bishop Mahoney Saints will face the Wayburn Eagles in their high school state 5A championship game at SMF Field on Nov. 11.
November 18: Firefighters answer the phone
The Saskatoon fire brigade spent hours fighting the fire at a home at 1500 North 7th Avenue on November 17th.
November 19th: Seasonal illumination
The 24th Annual BHP Enchanted Forest opened on November 18, bringing back the Saskatchewan Blue Cross Light Walk after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Enchanted Forest will be held nightly from 5:30pm to 10:00pm at He Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo through January 8th. The Enchanted Forest is provided by the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation. Over the past 23 years, this colorful display has raised him over $5 million, which he has distributed to two local foundations.

November 25: Spirit of the Season
Monica Brunet of SaskMétis Economic Development Corporation decorates a Métis-inspired tree for the Tree Celebration held at the Museum of Western Development.
November 25: Optimist Hill opens the season
Thanks to favorable snow conditions, Optimist Hill will reopen for the 2022-23 season from November 25, offering free lift passes and hot chocolate to the first 250 people to arrive. The 21-meter hill has groomed lanes for tubing, skiing, and snowboarding, a terrain park, a free toboggan hill, two conveyor lifts, and equipment rentals. Last year, it didn’t open until December 17th.
November 29: Winter Wonderland
On November 28th, pedestrians in downtown Saskatoon had to deal with billowing snow. A low pressure system across the prairie was expected to bring 15 to 20 cm of snow in and around the city Sunday night through Tuesday.

November 30: Lend a Hand
Year 10 ED Feehan students roused all over Saskatoon to spread the Christmas cheer. On Nov. 29, students gathered at more than 10 of his locations, including the White Buffalo Youth Lodge, to help clean up equipment for the Kinsmen Hockey League.
