Feeling Feminine – Home Trends Magazine

Located in Thornhill, Ontario, this newly built condominium was purchased by a retired bank executive as a weekend city escape oasis.

where she could visit with friends and play mahjong late into the night. Helped decorate and furnish the condo.

This space will be used primarily by her, but we wanted it to be practical when our daughter visited with her grandson. This was achieved by using family-friendly fabrics in the living area and procuring a stylish sofa that converts into a sofa bed for additional guests.Since the entire space is only her 576 square feet, Christine chose the one that provides additional storage and functionality. For example, the TV console is her cabinet in the bar, and she added another cabinet in the bathroom for storage of toiletries and towels. They also turned the ‘plus den’ into a dining space that could easily be turned into a game table when it came time to host mahjong the night before.

What Christine loves most about this project is the sense of transcendence she gets when she participates. From stunning city views through floor-to-ceiling windows to the soft, feminine vibe created by her palette of carefully selected decor and colors, Piet’s tartare of stylish ubiquitous style.
