Toronto Police Provides Update on Two Unsolved Murder Investigations From 1983 – Toronto
Police will update their investigation into two unsolved murders in Toronto.
Toronto Police said officers would provide an update on the 39-year-old murders of Susan Tice and Erin Gilmore.
Officials will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. Monday.
On August 17, 1983, Tice, a 45-year-old mother of four, was found stabbed to death in her Toronto home.
She had moved from Calgary to Toronto a month before she died.
22-year-old Gilmour was found dead in the bedroom of his Hazelton Avenue home on December 20, 1983. Police said she had just returned home from her job at her knit Robbins.
Police say she was sexually assaulted before being killed.
Police said the two murders were linked by DNA.
