Rain is expected to abate Wednesday night, but winds are expected to continue through Thursday and midday temperatures are expected to stay above freezing through Sunday.

Some areas near the St. Lawrence River, the Saguenay River, and the Eastern Gaspé Peninsula will receive an unknown amount of snow, followed by rain.
In the Courtnall area, precipitation will cease on Thursday, but windy conditions will persist through Friday. Environment Canada has warned that snow is accumulating quickly and could make travel difficult in some areas.
As of late Monday, the regions of Utahue, Abitibi-Themiscaming, Haute-Maurice and Bas-Saint-Laurent were not subject to weather forecasts.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a daytime high of 0°C, a windy morning of -9°C, and a nighttime low of -4°C.
