By now we all know there are respiratory problems affecting children in Ottawa. I’m here. Likewise, Tylenol for infants and children is a hot commodity, rarely found, and when found he knows he can only buy one.

Why is this spending necessary to improve PS?

Re: Hybrid Work Is Best For PS, Nov 12th.

Finance Committee President Mona Fortier said the federal government plans to invest $2.2 billion over six years to improve service delivery. Why do we need such an “investment”? Isn’t improving service delivery an ongoing function of all levels of government?

The article itself lists many measures to reduce costs. The extra he doesn’t make a compelling argument to spend $2.2 billion in taxpayer money.

Thanks for addressing this pothole

I was recently crossing King Edward Avenue at the pedestrian crossing. It was early in the morning, still dark, and the driver was waiting for me. I stepped into a pothole and fell and twisted his ankle. I staggered to the curb and limp.

I am elderly and the damage could have been worse. The hole was big enough to flip a cyclist or scooter over. I reported the hole in the road to the city and it was fixed. Kudos to the city officials and crew for addressing my complaint.
