Late ‘Power Rangers’ actor Jason David Frank struggled with mental health issues, friend says

A friend remembers the life of Jason David Frank.

Last week, the former ‘Power Rangers’ star committed suicide at the age of 49, TMZhis friend and MMA fighter Mike Bronzoulis shared the actor’s mental health struggles.

according to TMZ“Jason has always been open about his bouts of depression and mental health issues, but kept it a secret from most people.”

Bronzoulis also explained that multiple members of Frank’s family died by suicide, his mother died of cancer a few years ago, and that every death hit him hard.

The last time Frank and Bronzeolis spoke was about a week before he died.

The MMA fighter received a voicemail from a friend saying he needed to talk and remembered he was going through a lot, but Bronzoulis discovered the recording after Frank died.

Mike says the last time he spoke to Jason was about a week before he died. He got a voicemail from Jason…he needed to talk and he was going through a lot.

Despite his struggles, Frank was always busy, working constantly to meet his fans in person and build his social media presence.
