Tyson is recalling nearly 100,000 of this ground beef

About 93,700 pounds of raw ground beef have been recalled, according to Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. Food safety inspection service (FSIS) USDA for possible “foreign material” contamination.

The problem was discovered when customers who purchased Tyson Fresh Meat products began complaining to meat companies that there was a “mirror-like” substance in their beef. Tyson then reported the complaint to his FSIS. This recall applies to Tyson ground beef produced at Texas retailers on November 2, 2022. According to FSIS, no official side effects have been reported from customers who have eaten tainted beef.
