A teenage girl was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly kicking a North Vancouver Mountie at a McDonald’s restaurant.

According to RCMP spokesman Sgt. At 9:00 pm on November 15, police were called to a McDonald’s on his 1200 block on Marine Drive, where a group of up to 12 young people yelled at, cursed, confused, and were asked by staff to also refuse to leave. One of his youngsters is said to have thrown a chair.

DeVries said that when police arrived, some youths refused to leave, cursing and yelling at officers.

“One of the youths repeatedly kicked a police officer and was arrested on charges of assaulting, obstructing, pranking and disturbing police officers,” he said. The officer who was kicked was not seriously injured.

“We are aware that a brief segment marking the end of the case has been widely circulated on social media,” DeVries said.

According to @blackvancouver’s Instagram post showing footage of the arrest, the group was asked to leave McDonald’s because it was linked to an incident that occurred at a restaurant on Halloween.

According to the post, the group cooperated fully when police arrived, but one of the group was arrested after asking to go to the bathroom, resulting in a head injury and an exposed chest.

“We were all untouched and Kensair was targeted and attacked for literally no reason. While Kensair was in the back of the car, he was bleeding from his head and fingers because of the cops,” the post read. .
