‘Law & Order: SVU’ Kelly Giddish appears to be getting married in her final episode teaser

A new teaser video for the fall finale of Law & Order: SVU teases the final episode of the long-loved drama Kelly Giddish.

The clip looks at Giddish’s Det. Amanda Rollins appears to have walked into a courthouse dressed in white, where she appears to be married to Assistant District Attorney Sonny Carisi (Peter Scanabino).

A short preview video also sees Rollins hugging Mariska Hargitay’s Det. After the narration, Olivia Benson heard Giddish’s character say, “I’m leaving SVU.”

Elsewhere in the promotion, flashbacks show Det. Rollins Conference Det. Benson for the first time, among some of the character’s other best moments.

Giddish’s final episode of “Law & Order: SVU” airs December 8 at 9:00 PM ET on NBC.

The actress announced in August that she was leaving the series after 12 seasons, calling her experience on the show “one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life.”
