PM to appear on ‘Canadian Drag Race’

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared on Friday’s episode of “Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World” and offered words of inspiration to contestants before the main challenge.

Trudeau is touted as the first world leader to visit the tournament series founded by RuPaul.

In the episode, the Prime Minister shared his thoughts on Canada’s efforts to embrace diversity, pointing out that much more needs to be done to build alliances in Canada.

After his remarks, the queens were moved by his words.

Competitor Stephanie Prince said teary-eyed that Trudeau’s immigration efforts had made it easier for performers to move to Canada in search of a better life.

The taped Crave series, which aired the same day, shows Prime Minister Trudeau ahead of a public hearing investigating his government’s decision to invoke emergency legislation to lift last winter’s “Freedom Convoy” protest lockdown. I testified.
