Pats win over Vancouver, Sim shines with shutout

A 47-save shutout performance by Drew Shim helped the Regina Pats to a 3-0 win over the hosts Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League on Friday.

A shutout performance of 47 saves by Drew Shim helped the Regina Pats to Friday’s 3-0 victory over the Vancouver Giants in Langley, British Columbia.

It was Sim’s third shutout in the Western Hockey League, becoming the first member of the Giants to score a major junior goose egg in a 4–0 win over the Victoria Royals on April 15, 2021. It was the second shutout of the season.

Sim was traded to Regina for a conditional 4th round draft pick on October 13, 2021.
