The Real Housewives of Salt Lake Cityof Meredith Marks When Jen Shah I’ve been in a pretty volatile relationship for the past few years. The drama between the two especially heated up in Season 2 of the Bravo series, as Meredith accused Jen of liking homophobic tweets directed at her son. Brooks Marks.

However, with Jen’s ongoing legal drama in the show’s current third season, the two recently formed a very close friendship that left many viewers and cast members alike confused, so the situation has changed. Meredith broke down the reasons behind the unexpected reconciliation on the Nov. 2 episode Watch What Happens Live.

“First of all, as we all know, there’s a lot going on with Jen right now,” Meredith explained to the host. Andy Cohen“And when someone is down, I don’t kick.”

In July, Jen pleaded guilty in federal court, a week before her fraud trial began. Jen’s sentencing date, which could face up to 30 years in prison and up to $9.5 million in damages and fines, also happens to be Meredith’s December 15th, her birthday.
