Isla Fisher reveals why she’s ‘nervous’ to discuss marriage to Sacha Baron Cohen

Isla Fisher has been married to Sacha Baron Cohen since 2010, but rarely talks about her marriage to the ‘Borat’ star.

in a new interview with Australian women’s weekly magazineFisher explained her reticence about sharing details about their relationship.

“It makes me nervous to talk about it. It’s private to me because I never had my relationship in public and didn’t talk about how we met or really talked about our marriage.” This is because I feel that it remains a precious thing in Japan.

According to Fisher, humor has always been what brought them together. “I don’t know if it’s a secret,” she said. “But having a shared ability to find humor in the sharpness of life always brings a connection.… otherwise, I think it’s nice to keep some things for yourself.

The couple also kept their professional lives separate by working on their own individual projects.

There is one exception. Fisher got her first-hand experience of his approach to comedy when she starred alongside her husband in the 2016 comedy film The Brothers of Grimsby.
