Toronto police charge suspect with fatal North York stabbing.

Toronto police have charged a suspect after a man was stabbed to death in North York last weekend.

Officers responded to reports of stabbings in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area shortly after 6:30 pm on Sunday, November 6.

A man was found at the scene with a stab wound, police said. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but was pronounced dead.

Details of the incident have not been disclosed. The Homicide Division took over the investigation.

The victim was later identified as Junior Douglas, 41, of Toronto.

On November 8, police made an arrest in connection with the stabbing.

Toronto resident Ramin Khamis, 41, has been charged with second-degree murder.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on November 9.
