Warner Bros. U.S. has deleted “Barbenheimer” tweets after being criticized by Warner Bros. Japan.
The Japan studio department shared a press release after the studio’s U.S. Twitter account replied to a fictional poster exhibiting “Oppenheimer” actor Cillian Murphy carrying “Barbie” actress Margot Robbie on his shoulder, whereas nuclear flames have been seen within the background, Deadline reported.
The account wrote, “It’s going to be a summer season to recollect.”

The Warner Bros. Movie Group have since instructed Deadline in a press release: “Warner Brothers regrets its latest insensitive social media engagement. The studio presents a honest apology.”
