30-year-old man charged, two injured after woman’s death in Kitchener
A 30-year-old man faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, after one woman died and two others were injured.
Waterloo Area Police said officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a Kitchener, Ontario home after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said they found three injured people.
A 41-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 51-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said they arrested a 30-year-old Kitchener man and charged him with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
He was scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
