New podcast from ‘Glee’ alum Kevin McHale and Jenna Ashkowitz addresses series misconceptions, including TikTok conspiracy about Lea Michele

“Glee” alums Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz are ready to address some of the biggest misconceptions of the show, both on and off screen, that have been circulating around the Emmy-winning series in years. I’m here.

Following Monday’s debut of the new iHeartRadio podcast, “And That’s What You REALLY Missed,” the two will revisit the musical comedy-drama as they rewatch all six seasons.

Uszkowitz as Tina Cohen-Chan people Compared to their previous recap podcast, “Showmance,” which explored their bond during and after the show’s run from 2009-2015, the pair “really want to dig a little deeper” in the new podcast.

“We’re definitely going to have a lot of ‘Glee’ alums,” she teased, along with a “backstage crew.”

The podcast has already kicked off with a trending premiere episode after first guest and series co-creator Ryan Murphy made some shocking revelations about the beloved show. She shared that having Murphy on the show was “a dream come true.”

Since “glee” ended seven years ago, the show has continued to attract attention, especially in recent years, with rumors of off-screen drama between alums and “crazy” fan theories on social media.

Ushkowitz confirmed that she and McHale plan to address “everything.”

“We definitely want to expose the conspiracy of crazy TikTok like Lee. [Michele] Unreadable and the Curse of ‘Glee’, or Why We Hate It [when] People say so,” she said. “We definitely want to dive into all of that.”

The former castmate may have had some negative moments on and off set, but McHale, who played Artie Abrams, insists the positive moments win out.

“I think the biggest thing for us is being able to look back [the show] In a positive way,” he added.

New episodes of “And That’s What You Really Missed” are available weekly on multiple podcast platforms.
