Orange Pill: New App to Meet Bitcoiners – Bitcoin Magazine
The new Orange Pill App (OPA) seeks to connect Bitcoiners in real life without the need for meetups or conferences, according to a release sent to Bitcoin Magazine.
Today at the Pacific Bitcoin Conference in Santa Monica, Calif., the Orange Pill will be available for iOS, with Android devices rolling out in December. The team behind Orange Pill says meetings can be expensive and time-consuming, but meetups often have low attendance and require a great deal of planning.
Daniel Prince said, “As we step into the unknown and increasingly dystopian nature of the world of Fiat Clowns, our messages are aligned, our tools sharpened, and the companies, meetups and workshops created. “It is more important than ever that we are empowered and that grassroots initiatives in other communities flourish.” , Bitcoiner, Podcaster and Advisor to Orange Pill App.
The OPA explained that the increasing amount of noise on Twitter has made it difficult to make connections with bitcoiners in real life.
“DMs are flooded with crypto bros and big-time Asian female bots asking about your trading success,” says Prince. “Responses to the tweets are full of defenders of defi, web3 and shitcoin. They formed secret discord chats to coordinate their efforts to systematically pump their bags while gaining your engagement.” I have.”
Additionally, OPA was formed out of frustration with CEO Matteo Pellegrini’s difficulty in finding local Bitcoiners in his area when he moved to a new area.
“Building the Orange Pill app is going to be a privilege of my life. I have been a bitcoiner for many years and every time I meet another prev IRL at a conference or conference it has been an amazing experience that I hoped for. “We hope the OPA will play a role in facilitating Bitcoin adoption,” Pellegrini said.
