What’s the worst parenting mistake you’ve ever made?

The journey of parenting is the most humbling journey.There is nothing like raising a child to be a capable, caring, independent adult and trying to face all of his own many shortcomings. does not cost we Even if the annoying phrases our parents used to tell us suddenly flow freely out of our own mouths, we would never do that.

Even if you have a partner who looks you in the eye on just about everything, you’ll find yourself debating whether it’s okay to let your child quit sports after only a month. Or how much backtalk is normal or disrespectful and unacceptable. Or if they are still too young to have a smartphone. Often times, we don’t know which path is the right one until we’ve gone too far to turn back. You either breathe a sigh of relief that you have chosen the right path, or you fervently wish to start over.

But there is also a deep camaraderie in parenting. You’re going to fail in ways I can get away with. we can learn from each other—especially from those who came before usthose who are on their way and can see more clearly the errors of their ways.

I now know my son would have responded more favorably then-of– parenting style, Not super nanny style time,out we chose to rely onI don’t know if it terrible Parenting mistakes I’ve made so far (I’m sure my son can offer some candidates), but mostly because of how long it took me to correct course , which is probably the one I regret the most.
