What’s new in Paramount + in July 2022

All the insightful documentary quests for today’s most pressing issues are working, but I usually watch TV when I want to completely shield my brain from the horrors of reality, so I dig into the details of YouTube style. More and more every (almost) part of the pop culture ephemera. The day music died: American PieA feature-length quest for one of the most unconventional pop hits ever recorded, sounds like it would fit the bill when it premiered on Paramount + on July 19.

Other highlights during this late summer month: a long delayed premiere of Season 2 Blood & Treasure (July 17th), as the Action Thriller series moves from the previous berth of CBS to streaming. the only (July 12), a documentary about Briana Scurry, the only black player on the US Women’s National Soccer Team.When Honor Society (July 29), an original streaming dark comedy about the length a highly educated high school student goes to enter a dream college. Probably because at the age of 22, he can’t wait for a six-digit debt.
