There was only one way to stage the battle of hockey Alberta. Prime Minister Jason Kenny found it sadly, saying he would eventually get off the stage.

Despite a solid victory prediction, only 51.4 percent of the more than 34,000 UCP members who voted in the Leadership Review said they approved him.

Kenny previously said that “50 percent plus one” is the majority of democracy. This means that he is enough to continue.

Alberta Prime Minister Jason Kenny will resign as the leader of the US Conservative Party after receiving only 51% of the party’s vote on his leadership.

“51% of the votes exceed the majority of constitutional standards, but continuing as a leader is clearly not enough support,” Kenny told the crowd in Spruce Meadows, Calgary.

“That’s why I want to tell the leader tonight that he intends to resign as leader of the Unified Conservative Party.”
