Good Orloan fan: The latest outdoor art show in Laurans, Highlands is an artist-created functional mini-golf course curated by artist Ryeland Forty. The 12 holes were designed by artists such as Adon Lee and Kam Kaminski. Andrew Benson; Andrew Hood; Brennan Black; Dion Fortie and Anyssa Fortie; Hessam Ohadi; Isabergzio; Jared Epp; Max Keane; Megan Feniak and Johnathan Onyschuk; Steven Teeuwsen; The opening reception for all ages will be held from noon to 10 pm and DJ Quasi Uomo will provide the soundtrack. Normal time past this Saturday is noon – 5 pm Sunday, Thursday – Saturday noon – 8 pm I promise to have a good time — uh — fore! all!

Harry Potter’s magical music: Starting Saturday, there will be multiple performances throughout the week, with conductor Lucas Waldin and special guests playing the music of all eight Harry Potter films. Rich stringed instruments, bright woodwinds and powerful brass bring a sense of adventure to your favorite selection, played in cinematic order, from Harry’s mysterious world to Hedwig themes. Cleo Hercus is a soprano on May 21st and 22nd, and Elizabeth Flexer is the same as May 27th and 28th.
