San Diego’s MTS selects NFI for up to 473 low-emission and zero-emission buses in The Canadian Business Journal

The MTS is one of Southern California’s oldest transportation systems, serving the San Diego community for over 135 years. MTS operates one of the cleanest public transit systems in the United States, transporting 88 million passengers annually throughout San Diego County on approximately 100 fixed bus routes.

Backed by Federal Transportation Administration (“FTA”) funding, the order will help MTS achieve its goal of transitioning to a zero-emission fleet as outlined in its multi-year “Zero Emission Bus Deployment Plan.” .
