Two days before she turned 17, the Regina Patz winger scored six points, including four goals, in a 9-5 win over the hosts Victoria Royals in the Western Hockey League.

Howe, who has 15 goals and 18 assists in 23 appearances this season, was plus six on Saturday.
The six-point game was Pat’s first since February 24, 2017, when Sam Steele had four goals and two assists in a 7–0 win over the Swift Current Broncos.
A second-year WHLer, Howe’s best score in a game so far is 4 (achieved on September 29th and November 12th). He appeared in Saturday’s game and scored two goals in his seven innings in the WHL, but he has never scored three, let alone four.
Conor Bedard added 3 goals and 1 assist in front of 7,006 spectators at the sold-out Save on Food Memorial Arena.

Bedard extended his scoring streak to 23 games. He leads his WHL in goals (22) and points (53).
Saturday’s match was Bedard’s fourth time scoring three or more goals in the WHL. He has recorded one four-goal game, three hat-tricks, and 19 two-goal performances in 101 major junior games.
Stanislav Svodir also contributed to the 4-point night with 1 goal and 3 assists, helping them to an 11-11-1-1 record.
Riley Guinell with an empty net also scored for Regina.
The nine goals was a season-high for Pat, who previously peaked with a seven-goal performance.
Regina had not scored nine goals since 29 March 2021, when Swift Current lost 9-4 at Brant Centre. Bedard recorded one goal and three assists in that match.

Brayden Schuurman gave Victoria two goals (3-17-3-0) and singles from Karem Parker, Marcus Almquist and Jake Poole. Poole and Alex Sucker (3 assists) each scored his 3 points.
Pat is scheduled to take on the hosts Kelowna Rockets on Tuesday.
