Google Docs uses emojis. In April, the company added the following features React to documents with emoji, rather than leaving a full comment. Now, Google is expanding emoji support, adding a quick and easy way to insert emoji into Google Docs without having to rely on external sources.
It comes as part of Google’s “insert” shortcut. When you start a new document, it says “Type @ to insert”, which you might miss if you type too quickly. here, A menu of options at your disposal will appear. Email document drafts to anyone, share with recent Google contacts, import other documents, and insert common word processing elements such as links, breaks, and page numbers. However, the new addition here is Emoji. Scroll through the menu and you’ll find the option as the last entry under “Media”. By clicking on it, you can easily access −To-Use the emoji selection menu. Choose from previews or search for something specific.
You can also display this menu from a hidden shortcut on the right side of the document. Hover over the side parallel to the text and click the smiley face.
This menu is useful, but if you already know which emoji to use, you can access it faster.Tyes”@:” When Then start typing the name of the emoji. If you use apps like Slack, you might be familiar with this type of emoji system. As you type, you’ll see a selection of emojis that change according to the description you enter.. for example, @:smile You’ll see Laughing, Joy, and Rofl emoji options.
If the emoji you want to use is at the top, just press Enter on your keyboard to insert it into your document. Otherwise, Select any of the other options with the keyboard arrows, come in After finishing your preperations.
