2023 Grammy nominations: see the list of music nominees – National

The nominees for the 2023 Grammy Awards also include some of the biggest names in the music industry. From Beyoncé to Harry Styles, some of the world’s most beloved musicians were recognized in Tuesday’s nominations.

Beyoncé received nine nominations this year, eight of which were her albums. RenaissanceWith those nominations, Beyoncé currently has the most nominations by any single artist, alongside her husband Jay-Z.

Kendrick Lamar followed closely with eight nominations.

British singer Adele was also nominated in seven categories.Adele will win the next Grammy twenty five beat beyonce lemonade for Album of the Year.

This year’s Grammy Awards introduced five new categories, including Songwriter of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards for Best Songs for Social Change.

The Non-Classical Songwriter category honors one person who was the “most prolific” non-performing, non-producing songwriter in a series of new works. It takes a different approach than Song of the Year, which rewards a songwriter who wrote the lyrics and melody of a single song.

The Social Change Award for Best Song recognizes music with lyrics that address timely social issues or vulnerable communities, promote awareness, raise awareness, and build empathy.

Despite the Grammys’ attempts to appear more in tune with the times, several rap and R&B artists have again declined consideration of their albums. The 2023 Grammy Awards will be held on February 5th in Los Angeles.
