Anthony Henday Drive rollover takes two people to hospital

The main Edmonton police officer is at the scene of a single vehicle rollover at Anthony Henday Drive.

A spokesman for the Edmonton Police Service (EPS), Cheryl Shepherd, said the rollover took place around 8 pm Wednesday. She said the westbound lane of Anthony Hendy Drive between the St. Albert Trail and Campbell Road was closed due to a crash.

The two crew members of the vehicle were treated and taken to the hospital. Shepherd said there is currently no up-to-date information on their condition.

As police continue to investigate, drivers will be asked to avoid the area for the next few hours.
