A 36-year-old Montreal man arrested after seven cars on Autoroute 50 were damaged in a chain reaction collision

A 36-year-old man in the Montreal region faces many charges after a collision on Tuesday night after a car passes through a streetlight and enters a ditch on Autoroute 50.
Seven other cars were damaged after running through the streetlights that fell on the freeway.
The highway patrol section of Sûreté du Québec was called to the scene around 11:30 pm with calls for multiple vehicle collisions on the highway.
The suspect’s car was found in the ditch.
I wasn’t injured.
The suspect was released on the promise of appearing in a subpoena.
Police claim that the driver’s blood alcohol level was almost three times the legal limit.
His driver’s license is automatically suspended for 90 days.
