How to watch Artemis I Moon Launch

This week is a big one for space travel, as NASA plans to send a giant rocket into lunar orbit. Artemis I is scheduled to launch on Monday, August 29th from 8:33am to 10:33am ET, where you can watch the launch (plus flights starting Friday, August 26th). What’s so special about Artemis I?

Artemis I is the first test of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft. It is the most powerful rocket launched from Kennedy Space Center since the Saturn V in 1973.

How to watch the Artemis I pre-launch briefing

On Sunday, August 28, NASA will host a final pre-launch media briefing on countdown status at 9:00 a.m. ET.
