16 running myths that keep you away
“Jogging” and “running” are two English words that apply to the action of covering distance in small leaps from foot to foot. It’s the same movement, but we use the word “jogging” when it’s slow and “running” when it’s fast.
There are no formal standards, so you don’t have to measure anything to know if you’re a ‘jogger’ or a ‘runner’. You can call it all running, even if it’s slow paced. Go for a run, be a runner, wear your running shoes. Some people call running at a slow pace a “jog” and a fast run a “run.” They are all the same, so call them whatever you like.
