Why Paint Quality Matters

With so many colors and paints to choose from, choosing the right paint for your project can be daunting. It’s important to understand the difference between quality paints!

First, you need to know what constitutes a can of paint. Each can of paint has three main ingredients: pigment, binder and liquid. In pigment he has two forms. Prime pigments, which provide color and hiding, and low-cost “extender” pigments. Binders affect performance such as stain resistance, gloss, adhesion and crack resistance. Liquids are used as fillers.

High-quality paint differs from cheaper options in that:
