Vancouver’s Sea Wheele Half Marathon has reached the finish line
After 10 years of racing, Vancouver’s famous Sea Wheele Half Marathon and 10K ran the final course. The race hosted by Lululemon was announced on Thursday, June 2nd. On social media SeaWheeze race weekends no longer exist.
SeaWheeze celebrated its 11th year in 2022, attracting 10,000 runners from all over Canada and around the world.The event itself is more than a half marathon, SeaWheeze is a runner Vancouver lifestyleFrom breathtaking courses (more than half of the courses along the Pacific Ocean) to lululemon-clad pacemakers and spin cyclists, post-race parties, yoga and the Sunset Festival at Stanley Park.

Over the last two years, the race has been virtualized for a pandemic. Race sponsor Lululemon has dropped a limited edition collection that represents Vancouver’s running community. Lululemon sponsored pop-up yoga classes, stores and other activities during the August weekend race. “Running is about connections, and our goal is to give runners the opportunity to do yoga, run, and party with their running community,” says a Lululemon spokesman.
“If there’s one thing we know when the sun sets on the finish line, it’s going up to a new starting line,” Sea Wheele said. twitter.. Lululemon has also withdrawn from this year’s Edmonton 10K and Toronto Waterfront 10K title sponsors, which seems to be a step away from sponsoring a large number of events.
