Traction Uranium provides fall program update for major Lake South and Hearty Bay properties, The Canadian Business Journal

CALGARY, Alberta, September 20, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Traction Uranium Corp. (CSE: TRAC) (OTC: TRCTF) (FRA: Z1K) (“Company” Also “traction) is pleased to provide the following program update regarding ongoing exploration programs at both Key Lake South (KLS) and Herty Bay.

Lester Esteban, Chief Executive Officer, said: Next year, Traction will embark on its largest drilling program to date. Our team is dedicated to maximizing every dollar put in for our investors by running a quality follow-up program to develop quality drilling targets. We are pleased to provide the following updates regarding our fall programs. We also ask that you follow our progress as we move forward towards the 2023 training program. “

Key Hunan Uranium Project Advances to Phase 2:

As the initial Phase 1 ground program, which includes bouldering exploration, mapping, and sampling by the Traction research team, is nearing completion (see Traction news release of September 13, 2022), a phase of the program that includes the ground gravity program 2 is started.

MWH Geo-Surveys is contracted to complete the program with the planned mobilization of gravimeter/GPS operators to the KLS field next week. Gravity survey data provides a complete terrain-corrected Bouguer contour map that will be used to generate high-priority drill targets for the KLS (Key Lake South) project’s future diamond drill program. The program is expected to take approximately two weeks.

Hearty Bay Fall Program Launches with LiDAR Survey

Hearty Bay’s follow-up program begins by performing a LiDAR survey to generate a detailed digital elevation model. This model will help surface geologists define all of the different surface materials in the region and the mechanisms by which uranium-bearing rocks are deposited where they are deposited. Found on the Isle Brochet.

LiDAR or Light Detection and Ranging surveying uses laser pulses to acquire 3D data, calculate distances and measure range. It is basically a remote optical sensing method that uses rapid light pulses to map the Earth’s surface.

The big picture generated by LiDAR surveys has greatly helped to shed light on the history of glaciers, characterizing the surface materials and processes that led to the surface topography that exists today, and helping surface geologists in the Isle Brochet follow-up work. to be able to develop Provide a complete delineation of the island’s mineralized rock range and help our team navigate to the source of the high-quality uranium rock found at Isle Broche.

About Traction Uranium Corp.

Traction Uranium Corp. develops mineral exploration and discovery prospects in Canada, including three major uranium projects in the world-famous Athabasca region.

About properties

The Key Lake South Uranium Project is located approximately 6 kilometers southwest of the Key Lake Uranium Plant, close to modern uranium mining facilities and highway transportation in northern Saskatchewan. Geologically, it sits on the southeastern edge of the Proterozoic Athabasca Basin and is home to some of the world’s largest and finest uranium deposits and operations. Recent discoveries of the Triple R and Arrow deposits indicate further potential for high-grade uranium at the edge of the basin.

The Hearty Bay project is located on the northwestern side of the Athabasca Basin in the Beaverlodge/Uranium City area, and Hearty Bay contains a uranium boulder field that has been interpreted as bringing high-grade uranium boulders from nearby sources through glaciation. I’m here. A 2019 marine seismic survey interpretation defined an interpreted fault crossing representing a possible drill target associated with the source of the Ulan Boulder Train.
