‘The Voice’: Gwen Stefani moved to tears by Blake Shelton’s 16-year-old singer

To Mona Khalife, ETOnline.com.

Gwen Stefani couldn’t hold back her tears in the final knockout round at “The Voice” on Monday! It was while watching her husband Blake Shelton’s team performance that it really got emotional.

16-year-old Brayden Rape’s Brett Young’s performance of “Mercy” spoke to Gwen as a mother. His fellow coach called Rape “so sweet” and “natural” following his moving performance of his song Country.

Following the “Oh My God” Rape performance, Gwen yelled at Blake.

“I need a tissue,” she said before addressing the teen. “He’s so sweet.”

After wiping away tears, the No Doubt frontwoman said, “Brayden, what you’re doing is very low-key and very natural. ‘As a mom, I think you’re a really good person.'”

The youngest of Team Blake’s three young singers, Rape chose to go head-to-head at the live show, going up against Austin Montgomery and Eva Ullman, who performed “You Look So Good In Love” by George Straight. She sang “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande.

Gwen wasn’t the only one who praised the rape, the 16-year-old singer was also endeared by coach Camila Cabello and Blake, who called his performance “spot on.”

“Brayden, I think I’m in love with you,” Camilla gushed after his performance. , There is an emotional innocence.I know now that all the girls are in love with you.

“Brayden, you picked a song with nowhere to hide. It’s horrible. Once in the Zone, it’s so good and I don’t think you sounded better,” added Blake. “Everything hit the spot.”

It didn’t take long for Blake to pick a winner. Cowboy pumped Rape into a live show and teased that he could help the teen win another trophy and put it on the mantle.

“I had to pick Brayden. Brayden is only 16 and already very good. He has incredible tone,” Blake said after announcing the winner. He’s taken a big step every time he’s been on this stage, so I think he’ll be able to get the trophy at the end when he goes live.”

Following “The Voice” is a live show on NBC starting Monday at 8:00 PM ET.
