TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon Announces 2022 Medals and Race Shirts

2022 medal and t-shirt design TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon It’s been announced and looks great. The t-shirt designs are super cool and the medals have a special environmental connection to the city.

Ben Johnston A multidisciplinary artist who uses custom typography for murals, advertising, and public art. The 2022 shirt features funky 3D text blocks to highlight the city we love and drive proudly through.

This year’s medals, reminiscent of race day, are finally here.The inspiration behind the medal comes from the oak tree Tommy Thompson Park (Leslie Spit). The oak tree is the official tree of the City of Toronto and can be found in parks throughout the city.

“Two oak trees surrounding the Skyline and Tommy Thompson Park were added to the medal to connect us all to the healing power of nature and our responsibility to protect it,” says the medal designer. Inge Johnson.

The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon has earned the World Athletics Elite label. This is his second race to win the title in Canada. This is the final event on the 2022 Canadian Running Series calendar. The race has served as the Athletics Canada Canadian Marathon Championship and Canadian Olympic Marathon Trial since 2017.
