Takeoff Celebration of Life at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena

Fans around the world can mourn the takeoff together.

On Tuesday, the family of the rapper, whose real name is Kirsnick Khaki Ball, announced that he will be holding a celebration of his life on Friday, November 11 at 12pm ET at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

The funeral venue is home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and has a capacity of over 20,000. Fans can secure free tickets to attend in person.

Radio station V-103 reported that Pastor Jesse Carney III, senior pastor of New Mercy’s Christian Church, will officiate the ceremony and pay tribute to the Migos rapper.

“I will remember him as the young man I saw, who loved being with his family, loved coming to church, grew up in church, and when he arrived at church despite his busy schedule. A regular admirer and someone who has shown love to his fans,” the pastor told Atlanta station WAOK.

“I think it’s very important to me and most of his family. This was a son, a grandson, a brother, a nephew, a cousin,” Carney added. . “This is family. So remembering his love that he shared and gave to everyone. It’s someone I know and someone I can talk to.” .

Takeoff, who was a member of the rap trio Migos with his cousin Offset and uncle Quevo, was shot dead at a party in Houston on Nov. 1. He was 28 years old.
