Swiss Re Group CIO secures retirement after 25 years
Fürer was appointed CIO in 2012 and continued to lead the wealth management group. By 2019, he had taken on more roles as Swiss Country President of Swiss Re and Chairman of the Swiss Re Strategic Council.
“After a fulfilling 35-year career in the financial sector, I am looking forward to enjoying more time with my family and dedicating myself to pro bono work on various foundation boards.
Fürer will formally resign on March 31, 2023.
