Stantech Awarded US$16 Million Feasibility Study for Resolution Copper in Canadian Business Journal

Stantech, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has been selected by Resolution Copper Mining LLC (Resolution Copper) for a US$16 million feasibility to provide engineering and technical services to the Resolution Copper mine in Superior, Arizona We conducted a survey. The proposed underground mine could become one of North America’s largest copper producers, supplying up to 25% of U.S. copper demand each year. Copper from mines is used in products critical to the energy transition, such as electric vehicles, batteries, solar panels and wind turbines.

Resolution Copper is a limited liability company owned by Rio Tinto (55%) and BHP (45%). Stantech has been the lead underground mining and infrastructure consultant for the project since early 2019. Stantech will assist Resolution Copper by providing mine engineering and execution planning services.
