Setting the date for Santa’s arrival by helicopter at Devonshire Mall

Windsor’s holiday season tradition returns this Sunday when Santa arrives by helicopter at Devonshire Mall.

The annual family-friendly Christmas event is held at 11:00 AM in the parking lot in front of Buffalo Wild Wings (3100 Howard Ave.) on the mall.

Parents and children of all ages are invited to gather in a designated area of the lot and greet Jolly Old St. Nick when he appears in the air (weather permitting).

Following the arrival event, Santa Claus will begin the schedule at the mall’s Winter Wonderland exhibit on Center Court near the Hudson Bay Store.

If you want to meet and take photos with Santa, you must make a reservation on the mall’s website (devonshiremall.com).

It is possible to jump in, but priority will be given to those who have made a reservation.

From November 13th to December 11th, Santa will be available Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm, Saturday from 11am to 6pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

From December 12th to December 23rd, Santa will be available Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm, Saturday from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.

Santa’s hours of operation on Christmas Eve (December 24) are 10 AM to 4 PM.

Note: Chris Kringle needs a break too. Meetings with Santa cannot be scheduled on weekdays and Saturdays from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, Sundays from 2:30pm to 3:00pm, and Christmas Eve from 1:00pm to 2:00pm .
