Rebel Wilson recalls how ‘devastating’ it was to find her embryos non-viable

Rebel Wilson has opened up about her struggles during pregnancy.

In “Almonds and Seahorses,” the actress appears as a woman who “really wants a baby and struggles with the decision to stay with her husband” because she “has a very strong desire to become a mother.” peopleIt’s a struggle that Wilson finds relevant on a personal level.

“During filming, we received the horrifying news that all the eggs we had harvested so far had not survived the thaw,” she recalled.

For the actress, who was going through a lot of personal turmoil at the time, this news couldn’t have come at a worse time.

“So I lost a lot of weight and had three surgeries at that point and no viable embryos,” she explained. “It was devastating.”

“My desire to be a mother was so strong that I knew I needed to keep trying,” she continued. It was a very moving time.”

The 42-year-old recently welcomed her first child, Lois Lillian, via a surrogate mother. This was her dream come true for her.

In announcing the news, Wilson described her daughter as a “beautiful miracle.”
