Nick Cannon defends Kyrie Irving, slams Nets demands ‘inhumane’

Nick Cannon calls out NBA star Kyrie Irving, who was suspended by the Brooklyn Nets after he tweeted a link to the anti-Semitic documentary “From Hebrew to Black: Wake Up Black America.” Advocate.

As CBS Sports reports, the Nets are happy to let Irving resume play if he meets six conditions. He donates $500,000 to fighting hate. Conduct sensitivity training. However, Cannon denounced the Nets’ request as “dehumanizing” and compared the treatment of Irving by the team as similar to how Masters treat slaves.

with the video I got TMZCannon discusses the situation with ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt.

“I can wholeheartedly say that I know Kyrie Irving is not an anti-Semite,” Cannon told Greenblatt, noting that the documentary at the center of the controversy was “white Jews responsible for the Holocaust.” He pointed out that it is full of false information, including allegations. He added that the purpose of the film appears to be to dehumanize Jews.

“Jews know what happens when you dehumanize us like this,” he said.

Cannon, however, argued that the treatment Irving was receiving was equally inhumane compared to “backbreaking,” a term that dates back to the days of slavery before the Civil War, explaining to Greenblatt that did.

“The slave master had to take responsibility. ‘This is what you have to do to get in line,'” Cannon said. It’s dehumanizing when you see the six things you have to do.”
