New camera technology for cranes

“Hercules is the first product on the market,” said Dr. David Huang, co-founder and managing director of Scarlet Tech. Utilizing wireless technology to provide a clear visual and audio feed, it features his 2K resolution camera enhanced with Starlight for crystal clear night vision.

Huang says it’s a unique visual tool. “At many complex construction sites with many tall buildings and underground construction, crane operators often struggle to get a clear, unobstructed view from under the hook.”

Equipped with a dual-power lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 40 hours. The company also says it offers low-latency, real-time video feeds so operators can make informed decisions quickly.
