This 5,000m field in Rome is one of the most powerful we’ve seen this year and fans could win in less than 13 minutes.

Women’s 800m
American medium range phenom and record holder Athing Mu He made his debut in the Diamond League season at a distance where he won the Olympic gold medal last summer. Mu got off to a quiet start for the 2022 outdoor season and opened at 2: 02.07 at Michael Johnson Invitational in Texas in late April. It’s relatively unclear what Mu looks like, but it’s hard to turn her back on her world-class talent. Mu ran 1: 55.04 in the 2021 Prefontaine Classic last August and had a season to remember, making 1:56 the second American woman in history.
Thursday’s race is guaranteed to be fast and Mu is my favorite. This could work for Canada’s Butterworth, which continues to follow the 1: 59.50 World Championship standard.
The women’s 800m is scheduled to start at 2:40 pm (Eastern Time).
Women’s 200m
The women’s 200m field is comparable to what you see in the Olympic finals or semi-finals.Includes 5 of the 20 fastest women ever in the field, including the Olympic 200m Champion Elaine Thompson-Hella And 2019 World Champion Dina Asher Smith.. That’s not the only talent. The 400m Olympic champion Shaunae Miller WiboDrop down half the distance to compete with the best players in the world. 7th Olympic Gold Medalist USA Allyson Felix Olympic 100m bronze medalist Shericka Jackson Jamaica’s too can’t be ignored, as they seem to confuse Rome’s favorites.
Thompson-Herah will be a favorite of the race with nine race wins in her last nine starts.
The women’s 200m is scheduled to start at 3:05 pm ET
