Louis Tomlinson says he’s been in touch with One Direction’s ‘Brothers’ and supports each other’s solo projects

In a new interview with ET Canada’s Morgan Hoffman, Tomlinson discusses how his sophomore LP reflects his own development in recent years.

“This album carries something just slightly different… I’m sick of saying this, but the lyrics seem to have a slightly different maturity. I don’t think I could have written this album five years ago.” ‘, he explained.

“I’ve been working on this part and working on these kinds of emotions because now I have a full tour under my belt and I’m really, really confident in the music I’m making. ,” he added. “I think they honor me as an artist, so it feels great. It’s been a really good time for me and I’m excited for what’s next.”

One Direction may have gone their separate ways, but Tomlinson revealed that he and the other 1D members have kept in touch and supported each other’s various solo projects.

“We’re brothers. We’ve been through a lot together, so I think it’s important that we do it for each other,” he shared.

“We have so many different singles and we text each other every other week,” he added. I’m sure they will do the same.”
