Fashion blunders happen all too often when two female stars wear the same gown to an awards show, and it happened again at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards.

Country music star Kelsea Ballerini wore a form-fitting powder blue Balenciaga gown with a long flowing train and matching blue gloves on the red carpet of the CMA at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. I wore it and was photographed.

On that same red carpet, Mackenzie Porter wore the exact same blue Balenciaga gown, with the only exception being the lack of gloves.

Additionally, the Canadian country singer also wore a matching powder blue clutch.

There’s no denying the awkwardness of twinning a gown at an award show, but it’s also not the first celeb to wear that particular gown on the red carpet.
That distinction goes to Kim Kardashian, who wore the exact same Balenciaga gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar party earlier this year. Like Ballerini, the “Kardashians” star chose to wear matching gloves.
